Is It Legal to Drink Alcohol in a Limo in Ontario
Sealed, unopened alcohol can be transported. It cannot legally be opened and consumed while the vehicle is moving, regardless of who is driving.
Some limousine operators hold an AGCO liquor licence or a special occasion permit allowing alcohol to be served while the vehicle is stationary at an approved location. That is a narrow exception, not the general rule. Ask us directly about alcohol policy when you book rather than assuming it is included.
What a Stretch Limo Rental Actually Includes
The hourly rate covers the chauffeur, fuel and insurance for the vehicle. HST at 13% and gratuity of 15 to 20% are the only additions on top of that number, and both are stated on your quote before you confirm.
In practice: no separate driver fee, no mileage charge, no fuel surcharge added after the fact. The number on your quote is the number you pay for the hours you book, plus tax and gratuity.
What is not included is anything beyond the confirmed hours. Extra time is billed at the same hourly rate, agreed with your chauffeur before it starts. A cancellation inside a short window of your date may also carry a fee, confirmed on your quote at booking.
