Approximate one-way figures to downtown Toronto, plus HST 13 percent. Sunnybrook, Mississauga, Newmarket, Richmond Hill and Hamilton destinations, and any trip starting inside the GTA, are quoted on the same basis as one written number. Round trips with a same-day return are confirmed as one number, and that number is the price whatever the traffic does.

Who This Service Is For

This page is for one specific kind of trip: a scheduled appointment, reached in a regular private car, by a passenger who travels on their own. If that is you, or the person you are booking for, everything below will fit.

Our appointment passengers are mobile and medically stable. They walk to the car, settle into a normal seat, and walk into their appointment the same way, with the chauffeur holding the door as he would for any client. Nothing about the vehicle or the trip is clinical, because nothing needs to be. Most of them look like anyone else heading to a morning meeting, because that is roughly what an appointment is.

Just as important is what this service is not. We do not provide clinical support, supervision, or specialized equipment of any kind, and we will say so plainly if you ask rather than stretch past what a chauffeur should do. What we do provide is the part most transportation gets wrong: a car that is actually outside when it says it will be, a chauffeur who knows the appointment time matters more than the pickup time, and a return trip that does not involve standing at a kerb wondering.

Rides to Toronto General, Princess Margaret, Mount Sinai and SickKids on University Avenue

Four of the most specialized hospitals in the country sit within two blocks of each other on University Avenue: Toronto General at 200 Elizabeth Street, home of the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre and the largest transplant program in North America; Princess Margaret Cancer Centre at 610 University; Mount Sinai at 600 University; and SickKids at 555 University. Between them they draw appointments from every corner of Ontario, which is why more of our appointment rides end here than anywhere else.

The practical problem with Hospital Row is not finding it, it is arriving. University Avenue drop-off lanes are short, the garages fill by mid-morning, and a follow-up at Princess Margaret booked for 9:20 does not care that the Gardiner was slow. We plan backwards from the appointment time, drop at the exact entrance you name, and either wait nearby or return at an agreed time.

From Hamilton the sedan is approximately $125 one way. From Kitchener or Waterloo it is approximately $190, from Barrie approximately $170, and from London approximately $340, plus HST. Trips that start inside the GTA are quoted as one written number. A parent bringing a child to SickKids rides with them at no change to the price.

Sunnybrook and the Odette Cancer Centre on Bayview Avenue

Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre at 2075 Bayview Avenue is the other great magnet for out-of-town appointments, and the Odette Cancer Centre in its T-wing runs recurring visits that repeat for months. The campus is large, the entrances are far apart, and the wrong drop-off point adds a ten-minute walk to a visit that was already going to be long.

Your chauffeur drops at the entrance you name, not the main gate, and on a recurring schedule the same chauffeur learns your route. From Barrie and the Highway 400 corridor the sedan is approximately $170 one way; from Newmarket, Richmond Hill and the rest of the GTA the trip is quoted as one written number. The return is the part people appreciate most: after a long afternoon at Odette, the car is at the door and the ride home is quiet.

St. Michael’s Hospital and Toronto Western Hospital

St. Michael’s at 30 Bond Street sits a block from Yonge and Queen, and Toronto Western at 399 Bathurst sits beside Kensington Market, which is another way of saying neither one has parking a sane person would rely on before an appointment. The Donald K. Johnson Eye Centre at Toronto Western is a good example: an eye appointment that ends with dilated pupils is exactly the visit you do not want to drive home from.

A booked chauffeured car removes the whole question. The price is confirmed in writing before the trip, the chauffeur is a professional whose name you have in advance, and the cabin is quiet, private, and yours alone. If the visit is one you would rather not discuss, it is never mentioned, and receipts describe transportation and nothing else.

Trillium Health Partners: Mississauga Hospital and Credit Valley

West of the city, Mississauga Hospital at 100 Queensway West and Credit Valley Hospital at 2200 Eglinton Avenue West cover a huge share of appointments for Mississauga, Oakville, Milton, Burlington and Brampton. These are GTA trips, quoted per trip as one written number, plus HST, with a round trip and wait folded into the same quote.

A large share of these bookings are made by a son in Calgary for his mother in Etobicoke, or a daughter between meetings for her father in Oakville. The service is built for that distance. You book online or by phone and pay from wherever you are, the booking is confirmed to you both the night before, you get a text when the car arrives and another at drop-off, and the person travelling carries no cash, no app, and no responsibility for logistics.

Hamilton: Juravinski Cancer Centre and Hamilton General

Hamilton runs in both directions for us. The Juravinski Cancer Centre at 699 Concession Street and Hamilton General at 237 Barton Street East draw appointments from Niagara, Brantford, Burlington and the whole west end of the lake, while Hamilton residents ride the other way to University Avenue every week. Hamilton to downtown Toronto is approximately $125 one way in a sedan, $190 in an SUV, and $270 in an Escalade, plus HST, and any trip that ends in Hamilton is quoted the same way as one clean number.

For a family travelling together to a specialist appointment, a 14-passenger Mercedes-Benz Sprinter is on the same origin table, so nobody has to follow in a second car or split up in a parking garage.

Southlake in Newmarket and Mackenzie Health in Richmond Hill

Southlake Regional Health Centre at 596 Davis Drive and Mackenzie Health at 10 Trench Street serve York Region and the towns up Highway 400 and 404. For Aurora, Newmarket, Vaughan, Markham and Richmond Hill these are GTA trips, quoted per trip as one written number. From Barrie and Collingwood the published origin figures apply, and a wait-and-return for a regional clinic visit is confirmed as one number.

The wait is the part other transportation never gets right, so we made it the core of the product. On a wait-and-return booking the chauffeur delivers you to the entrance, stays in the area while you are inside, and is at the door when you come out. For longer visits a timed return usually makes more sense and costs less. Appointments run late everywhere, which is why the quote carries a realistic window and why your chauffeur treats a 40-minute delay as a normal Tuesday rather than a crisis.

One ride is a booking. A treatment schedule is a program, and a program deserves a better arrangement than rebooking every week. That is what an appointment ride account is: a standing arrangement that turns the transportation into something that simply happens.

The Lexus ES sedan is quiet, sits low and is easy to step into and out of, and seats up to 3, which leaves room for a companion. The Cadillac Escalade is the choice when you want the most cabin space in the fleet, and the 14-passenger Sprinter exists for the family that wants to travel to a specialist appointment together.
