What to budget for the transfer

Start with these approximate one-way budgets, then book online using your pickup, travel date and passenger details. If the vehicle or itinerary is not offered online, contact us for that arrangement.

VehiclePassenger capacityFrom YYZ, one wayFrom downtown Toronto, one way
Sedan2 to 3 passengersApprox. $410Approx. $300 to $450
SUVUp to 6 passengersApprox. $650Approx. $475 to $700
Cadillac EscaladeUp to 6 passengersApprox. $900Approx. $675 to $950

All amounts are CAD, plus 13% HST and 15% to 20% gratuity. Luggage, stops, waiting, tolls and vehicle selection can affect the total. Passenger capacity does not override property occupancy or access limits.

The YYZ column uses our published Prince Edward County / Picton regional guide prices. Downtown Toronto ranges are estimates using Union Station as the reference pickup, not published flat fares. Allowance ranges are not a guarantee of the final price. See our current rates.

Google Maps puts the driving distance at approximately 210 km from YYZ and 200 km from Union Station to the Wellington, Prince Edward County, Ontario area. These are locality reference routes, not measurements to a private cottage entrance. Distances depend on the route selected; some routes use toll roads. Enter the exact address for your booking.

The table covers one outward journey. Add the return when booking if you need both directions; these amounts do not include a driver staying with you or local trips during your visit.

A private transfer from Toronto or Toronto Pearson to Pearadise on West Lake should be planned as an out-of-town cottage journey, with the return booked around checkout or your flight home. The property manager describes a four-bedroom waterfront house in Prince Edward County, between Wellington and Bloomfield. Choose the vehicle after confirming the permitted guest party, luggage and unloading arrangements. Request a distance-based quotation for the actual itinerary rather than applying a Toronto hourly rate to the trip.

A cottage arrival has a different rhythm from a hotel check-in. Several households may be bringing food, suitcases, a stroller and swimming gear. Someone needs the host’s arrival instructions, and someone needs to keep children close while the bags come out. Getting everyone to the same place is only part of the job. Getting them there when the house is ready, with the right things accessible, is what makes the first afternoon usable.

This article covers travel from Toronto or YYZ to Pearadise and back. It does not offer a County wine-tour itinerary or imply a local car-service base. Accommodation and transportation are separate bookings; no affiliation with the property is implied.

Choose the journey before choosing the vehicle

The best starting point is the actual travelling party, not the largest number in a vehicle advertisement. Pearadise’s published accommodation limit and the vehicle’s passenger capacity answer different questions. A vehicle with spare seats does not give a group permission to bring extra overnight guests or visitors to the house.

A coach or mini coach is not the default choice for this house. The property listing does not establish large-vehicle access or authorize a group beyond the booking conditions. Even a smaller van needs an access check rather than an assumption based on the presence of parking.

A smaller cabin may be right for one household, while a van can keep a permitted shared party together. Ask about the actual configuration rather than choosing from exterior size alone. The exact assigned vehicle and its luggage capacity must be confirmed when quoting.

What makes this West Lake stay different

Pearadise's property-manager listing describes a house on a two-acre waterfront property, with a small pear orchard, a pool and a dock. Those details make this a stay centred on the house and grounds, rather than a place to deposit a group before a full day of separate activities. Plan the journey to leave time to settle in, unpack food and understand the outdoor boundaries.

The manager describes two levels, with bedrooms and living space on each. The lower level has a walkout towards the lake. That is useful context for assigning rooms and deciding where bags should go, but it is not an accessibility certification. A guest who cannot comfortably use stairs should ask the host about the specific route from the vehicle to the chosen bedroom and bathroom before confirming either booking.

The pool is advertised as seasonal, with a usual opening period from mid-May to mid-September. Treat that as the listing’s stated season, not a guarantee for a particular arrival date. If swimming is central to the trip, obtain confirmation from the host before packing around it. The same applies to any advertised outdoor equipment: a description is not a promise that every item will be suitable for every guest.

Waterfront also does not mean that the lake is the best swimming option. The manager says the lake can be shallow and recommends the pool for swimming. The important travel consequence is simple: bring the family’s required safety equipment and do not assume a waterfront rental replaces supervision or individual preparation.

Read the occupancy condition, not just the guest headline

The listing headline says ten guests, but its detailed conditions limit the number of older guests. It states a maximum of eight people over the age of ten and says a party of ten is permitted only if at least two guests are under ten. The wording does not clearly resolve a child who is exactly ten. Ask the host to approve the ages in your actual party rather than interpreting that boundary yourself.

This matters before a vehicle is selected. Eight adults and two young children are not the same booking as ten adults, even if both parties could fit in a passenger vehicle. Send the accommodation provider the guest details it requires, then give the transport company the confirmed passenger count and any child-restraint requirements. Do not treat transport confirmation as accommodation approval.

A multi-household trip can also include people who are meeting at the property but sleeping elsewhere. The published overnight limit does not establish a visitor policy or permission for a gathering. Resolve any proposed visitors directly with the host. This article does not describe Pearadise as an event venue, wedding venue or group assembly point.

Keep one agreed guest list for both bookings. When someone joins or drops out, update the accommodation booking and transport manifest separately. The host controls the stay; the transport provider controls the vehicle assignment. Neither should have to infer a change from a message intended for the other.

Give a Toronto departure one clear meeting point

A shared Toronto departure is often easiest when the party can gather at one practical address. Choose a pickup point where the vehicle can stop legally and the group can load without blocking other traffic. A hotel entrance or residential driveway may work, but neither should be assumed suitable for every vehicle. Give the operator the actual location, not only a neighbourhood name.

The departure time should work backwards from the host’s confirmed access window. Leaving early can be useful, but arriving before the house is available creates a different problem: a loaded vehicle, food that needs refrigeration and guests with nowhere agreed to wait. Ask for a realistic travel plan once the pickup address, date and arrival window are known. No fixed drive time is promised here.

If several pickups are essential, list them in the quotation request. An extra address affects routing and the time everyone else spends in the vehicle. It may be better for one household to meet the main group than to turn the departure into a sequence of short stops across the city. Make that decision before the itinerary is confirmed, not by adding addresses to the driver’s phone on departure morning.

Send the party a boarding time as well as the vehicle departure time. Bags should be packed and children ready before loading begins. Nominate one traveller to check that everyone is present and one person to hold the host’s instructions. They can be the same person, but the responsibility should be explicit.

Pearson arrivals need a flight-based plan

For an arrival at Toronto Pearson, supply the flight number, travel date, arriving terminal if known, passenger contact and expected luggage. A scheduled landing time is not a ready-to-board time. Travellers may still need to leave the aircraft, complete entry procedures and collect bags. Follow the confirmed airport pickup instructions rather than assuming the driver will meet the group inside the terminal.

A family landing at YYZ and relatives departing from Toronto create a choice: gather for one onward journey or travel separately. One vehicle can keep the party together, but the city guests must accept the agreed waiting arrangement if the flight is delayed. Separate transfers can avoid that wait, though they require distinct quotations and two coordinated arrivals at the property.

Ask how delays and waiting are handled before booking. There is no universal waiting allowance stated in this article, and a flight number alone does not establish the commercial terms. Obtain the applicable process in writing, including whom to contact if bags are missing or the group cannot reach the pickup point as expected.

Keep the first cottage evening uncomplicated after a flight. If food shopping is needed, agree a bounded stop in advance or arrange a permitted alternative with the host. Do not build an essential grocery run around an unconfirmed roadside request. A tired group will benefit more from a clear arrival plan than from an ambitious first-day schedule.

Count the cottage luggage, not only the suitcases

A weekend at a house can require more cargo than an airport transfer with the same passenger count. Include grocery bags, coolers, strollers, travel cots and any personal outdoor equipment in the luggage description. The quoted vehicle needs to accommodate the people and their belongings together. An empty seat is not automatically an approved storage solution.

Give the operator a useful inventory: large cases, cabin bags, folded stroller dimensions and the number of bulky extras. Photos or dimensions of unusually large equipment can help resolve a fit question. If mobility equipment is travelling, explain whether it folds, whether the passenger transfers to a vehicle seat and what assistance is needed. Do not infer accessible transport from the word SUV or van.

Child restraints need their own conversation. Provide the child’s age and the measurements requested by the transport provider, then confirm who supplies and installs the appropriate equipment. The property’s availability of a high chair or travel crib says nothing about the vehicle’s restraint arrangements. These are separate safety questions with separate answers.

Pack the first things needed at the house so they can be reached without unpacking every bag. Keep medication, phones, the arrival instructions and essential child supplies with the responsible adult. Put food and spill-prone items in suitable containers. For the return, have a way to contain damp belongings without mixing them through everyone’s dry luggage.

Plan the final handover around the house, not a map pin

The property manager says the full address is provided after booking and shows only an approximate public location. Use the confirmed private arrival instructions for transport. This article deliberately does not publish a street address or invent a driveway entrance. A map search for a similarly named place is not an adequate substitute for the booking details.

The listing also describes a separate dwelling occupied by a full-time tenant on the west side of the property. Guests are told not to use its surrounding lawn or park in front of it. Share that restriction with the operator alongside the approved unloading location. A driver looking for space should not have to distinguish the guest house from the separate dwelling by trial and error.

Ask the host where the proposed vehicle may stop, whether it can turn safely and whether any part of the driveway must stay clear. If direct access is unsuitable, agree a safe alternative handover before travel. Do not assume roadside unloading is acceptable, or that a driver can carry bags across the grounds. Walking distance, surface and luggage assistance should be settled for the actual guests.

The host’s outdoor safety warning deserves attention during unloading. The listing says several house doors lead directly to the pool and that the shoreline is not fenced. Designate an adult to remain with the children while another adult deals with the bags and entry arrangements. Arrival is a moment when everyone’s attention is divided; that is exactly when a simple division of responsibility helps.

Keep the first afternoon for settling in

A useful arrival sequence is modest: reach the approved handover point, confirm entry, bring essential bags inside and review the host’s instructions before heading outdoors. Then deal with room allocation and food. There is no need to schedule a tightly timed outing before the group has checked that everyone and everything arrived.

The manager advertises a kitchen and dining facilities, which may make a first meal at the house appealing. Decide who is bringing the ingredients and whether they fit in the vehicle. An unplanned shopping stop can become a long delay if several households shop separately. Where a stop is agreed, give it a clear purpose and have one shopper coordinate the list.

The property description mentions a dock, paddling equipment and outdoor recreation. Those are reasons to read the host’s instructions carefully, not invitations to promise an activity immediately after arrival. Equipment availability, suitability and any safety requirements remain matters for the accommodation provider. Transport service does not supervise waterfront use.

For a multi-night stay, book the outbound and return transfers as named movements. A vehicle that brings the group from Toronto should not be assumed to remain nearby or available for unscheduled trips. If the holiday later expands to include other travel, request it separately and check availability rather than relying on the arrival booking.

Make checkout and the return pickup one workable sequence

Confirm the return date, pickup time and destination before the outward journey. The return should account for the host’s checkout time, packing and any departure tasks in the booking instructions. Vehicle pickup is not permission to stay beyond checkout, and checking out early does not establish somewhere to leave luggage until a later departure.

For a return to Toronto, list the actual drop-off addresses. A group that departed from one meeting point may disperse to several homes on the way back, but those extra stops must be part of the agreed route. Decide which belongings belong to which household before loading, particularly when several families have similar bags.

If the return is to Pearson, work backwards from the airline’s required airport arrival time, not simply the flight departure. Give the operator the flight details and allow a suitable allowance for the road journey and possible delays. The appropriate departure time depends on the date, route and airport requirements. This article does not offer a guaranteed journey duration or a universal flight buffer.

A late flight can leave a gap between checkout and the desired airport departure. Resolve that gap before the stay: an earlier airport arrival may be simpler than carrying luggage through an improvised afternoon. Any planned stop needs an agreed location, duration and luggage arrangement. Do not assume the driver, vehicle or property will be available for that interval without a booking.

Ask for a quotation that describes the whole trip

An out-of-town quote should describe the movement being purchased. State Toronto or YYZ as the origin, identify Pearadise using the booking-confirmed destination information and include the return. Vehicle class, passenger count, luggage, dates, stops and waiting arrangements all belong in the request. No current fare is quoted here because a live rate has not been verified for this itinerary.

Ask what the total includes and which changes can create additional charges. Tax, gratuity, parking, waiting and added stops should be clear in the written quotation rather than left for the group to interpret. Do not assume a general hourly rate covers an intercity round trip, a multi-night stay or an airport delay.

Use this short checklist to prepare the request:

  • Outbound date, exact Toronto pickup address or YYZ flight details, and preferred property arrival window.
  • Confirmed passenger count, child-restraint needs and any mobility requirements.
  • Suitcase count, strollers, coolers and other bulky belongings.
  • Booking-confirmed property instructions and host-approved unloading restrictions.
  • Any requested stop, including its purpose and expected duration.
  • Return date, checkout constraint and Toronto drop-offs or departing flight details.

Once the itinerary is settled, request a quote or use the Chauffeuropolis booking page. Keep the property reservation separate and retain both confirmations. A transport request is not a reservation for the house, and neither booking should be treated as final until its own confirmation has arrived.

Put the final travel details in one message

Before departure, send each household a single travel note. Include the confirmed pickup location, boarding time, luggage plan, named group contact and return date. Keep the host’s private entry information in an appropriate private channel rather than forwarding it to everyone involved in the trip. The driver needs the correct destination and unloading instructions, not unnecessary personal details from the accommodation reservation.

Decide who can approve a change. If one traveller asks for another pickup while someone else asks for a grocery stop, the operator needs one person who can confirm the revised itinerary for the group. That person should check the effect on arrival time and charges before accepting. A group chat can collect ideas; it should not become a set of conflicting directions to the driver.

Changes at the property need a different contact. If the host moves the unloading point or sends new entry instructions, pass the transport-relevant details to the operator. If a flight changes, update the flight information and agreed pickup plan. Make sure a change to one leg does not accidentally leave the return using an old passenger count or address.

For example, one household might leave the cottage earlier than the rest. That changes both the return manifest and the luggage remaining for the later pickup. It does not automatically cancel their seats, reduce a fare or create a separate service. Ask for a revised confirmation that describes what will happen. A short written itinerary, accepted by everyone arranging the trip, is more useful than several slightly different versions saved on different phones.

Questions about Toronto and YYZ transfers to Pearadise

Can ten adults stay at Pearadise on West Lake?

No, the published listing does not support ten adults. Its detailed occupancy condition limits older guests and permits a ten-person party only with at least two children under ten. Confirm the actual guest ages with the host, particularly for a child who is exactly ten, before selecting transport.

Should we book a Sprinter for the whole party?

A Sprinter may be worth considering, but suitability depends on the confirmed passengers, luggage, child restraints and property access. Ask for the specific vehicle layout. Do not infer luggage space from the seat count or treat a larger vehicle as permission for more guests at the house.

Can the driver use any parking space at the property?

No. The manager specifically tells guests not to park in front of the separate tenant dwelling. Obtain the approved unloading instructions from the host and share them with the operator. Published parking availability does not establish coach access, turning room or permission to use every part of the grounds.

Can we arrive from Pearson and return to downtown Toronto?

Yes, that is an itinerary you can request, subject to confirmation and availability. Specify the airport arrival details and the exact Toronto return address as separate legs. They are different movements and should not be treated as an identical route in reverse.

Is a grocery stop included in the transfer?

Only if it is agreed in the quotation. Request the stop before booking, explain how long you expect it to take and include the added cargo in the luggage inventory. A direct transfer should not be assumed to include open-ended shopping or waiting.

Will the pool be open when we arrive?

The manager advertises a usual pool season from mid-May to mid-September, but the host must confirm availability for your dates. Do not make a transport or accommodation decision on the assumption that seasonal facilities will be open outside the confirmed period.

Is the property suitable for a guest with limited mobility?

Suitability needs an individual check with the host and the transport provider. The manager describes a two-level house but does not establish a step-free route from vehicle to bedroom and bathroom. Confirm the guest’s actual requirements, the arrival surface and the vehicle boarding arrangement before booking.

Is local touring included while we stay?

No local touring is implied by a Toronto-to-Pearadise transfer. The booking should state the outward and return journeys explicitly. Any other travel requires a separate request and confirmation; do not assume the arrival vehicle stays at the property during the holiday.
