What to budget for the transfer

Start with these approximate one-way budgets, then book online using your pickup, travel date and passenger details. If the vehicle or itinerary is not offered online, contact us for that arrangement.

VehiclePassenger capacityFrom YYZ, one wayFrom downtown Toronto, one way
Sedan2 to 3 passengersApprox. $150 to $225Approx. $150 to $225
SUVUp to 6 passengersApprox. $275 to $400Approx. $300 to $425
Cadillac EscaladeUp to 6 passengersApprox. $375 to $525Approx. $375 to $550
SprinterUp to 14 passengersApprox. $475 to $675Approx. $500 to $700

All amounts are CAD, plus 13% HST and 15% to 20% gratuity. Luggage, stops, waiting, tolls and vehicle selection can affect the total. Passenger capacity does not override property occupancy or access limits.

The YYZ ranges are planning estimates based on our published St. Catharines rates and the approximate road-distance difference. Downtown Toronto ranges are estimates using Union Station as the reference pickup, not published flat fares. Allowance ranges are not a guarantee of the final price. See our current rates.

Google Maps puts the driving distance at approximately 105 km from YYZ and 110 km from Union Station to the destination. Distances depend on the route selected; some routes use toll roads. Enter the exact address for your booking.

For larger groups, the published out-of-town starting price for a 27-passenger mini bus is $1,000, plus tax and gratuity. This is a fleet starting price, not a fare for this destination. Check the price for your dates and route; larger coaches are priced for the itinerary.

The table covers one outward journey. Add the return when booking if you need both directions; these amounts do not include a driver staying with you or local trips during your visit.

A Toronto or Toronto Pearson (YYZ) guest shuttle to Riverside Oasis Farm should be planned around the confirmed farm entrance, the guests and their luggage, and a booked return to Toronto or the airport. Riverside Oasis is a yurt-stay property beside the Welland River in Niagara Region, not a Niagara Falls hotel. Request an out-of-town, distance-based quote for the full itinerary. Vehicle access, availability and the final loading point need confirmation before the booking is settled.

The word shuttle here means a private arrangement for your party, not a scheduled public route or a service included with the accommodation. Chauffeuropolis transport and Riverside Oasis reservations are separate bookings. No farm affiliation is implied.

For this particular trip, the packing list matters almost as much as the passenger list. A couple travelling with overnight bags and a group bringing groceries, coolers and children’s belongings can have very different vehicle needs. The farm’s official yurt page is the place to check accommodation arrangements before you decide what must fit in the vehicle.

Choose the journey before the vehicle

Start with the people who are actually travelling together. Friends booked into separate yurts may share one departure from Toronto, while guests arriving on different flights may be better served by separate airport pickups. A larger vehicle is not automatically the better answer. It has to suit the luggage, the schedule and the entrance approved by the host.

A useful quote describes the movement of people rather than simply asking for a bus. State whether everyone travels out and back together, whether a different group returns, and whether the vehicle is needed for anything between those journeys. Two booked transfers do not mean a driver remains at the farm throughout the stay.

A farm stay beside the Welland River

Riverside Oasis is an overnight glamping property, rather than a downtown Niagara hotel. Its website identifies a 21-acre setting along the Welland River and describes animal visits, a riverside nature trail and paddling during a stay. Those activities explain why a direct arrival and a planned return can make more sense than an itinerary built around moving between attractions.

The farm advertises an evening tour as part of the yurt experience. If that matters to your visit, ask the host for the timing on your date before choosing a Toronto pickup. An advertised activity does not establish a fixed daily schedule, nor does a transfer reservation reserve your place at the property. The accommodation and the road journey are separate arrangements.

Wellandport is the regional destination identified in the research for this property. Use the farm’s actual booking instructions for the final address and entrance. Do not send a driver to a town centre, a river access point or an approximate map pin. Rural destination names can be adequate for early planning but inadequate for an arrival with bags and groceries.

A quiet farm weekend also deserves a quieter travel plan. Decide whether you want to stay on the property after arrival or go out for meals. Those are different requests. A return transfer at the end of the stay does not give you a vehicle for every evening in between.

Choose the yurt before choosing the vehicle

The three named yurts give guests different interiors within the same farm setting. The official description identifies Kandy with traditional Mongolian design details and bright colours. Lyla has natural wood finishes, the largest deck of the three and a river outlook. Caspian is taller than the other yurts, with blue decoration and traditional patterns on its central poles and roof rafters.

These differences help choose a place to stay; they do not change the basic transport question. How many people are travelling, and what will they bring? Start with the guests on the confirmed booking. Then account for overnight bags, food, cooler bags, children’s belongings and any mobility equipment. Vehicle suitability depends on the combination, not just a passenger number.

The farm homepage describes yurt accommodation for up to four guests. That is a lodging description, not a statement that a particular car will hold four people and all their weekend supplies. Nor should the number of yurts be multiplied into an assumed group booking capacity. Availability, permitted occupancy and event arrangements need the farm’s confirmation.

If friends are booking separate yurts, nominate one person to collect the travel details. Each party can keep its accommodation reservation separate while agreeing on a shared pickup, provided the passenger count, baggage and access have been accepted by the transport provider. Different check-in instructions or arrival dates should remain visible in that plan.

What to confirm before a Toronto departure

The yurt page lists standard check-in at 3 p.m. and check-out at 11 a.m. It describes earlier arrival and later departure as options subject to availability. Treat the ordinary hours as the planning reference, then use the times on your own confirmation. Do not plan an early drop-off on the assumption that someone will store the luggage or admit you to the yurt.

Riverside Oasis says it sends arrival instructions before the stay and requests an estimated arrival time. That creates a useful sequence: reserve the accommodation, read the host’s instructions, then agree on the transfer timing. If you request transport earlier, mark the final entrance and arrival arrangements as pending rather than filling the gap with an approximate destination.

Give your Toronto pickup as an address with a practical meeting location. At an apartment building, distinguish the street entrance from a garage or loading area. At a hotel, identify the hotel itself rather than only the neighbourhood. Anyone joining from another address should be included in the original request so the journey can be planned around the full route.

No fixed driving time is offered here. The farm publishes a broad Toronto travel estimate, but that estimate cannot account for your origin, departure time, road conditions or stops. Ask for a journey assessment for the actual booking. For an evening farm activity, leave room between the expected arrival and the activity rather than treating the end of the drive as the moment the experience begins.

Arriving from Toronto Pearson

A Pearson arrival adds a flight to the plan. Supply the date, flight number, passenger count and luggage details alongside the farm’s confirmed address. Distinguish the scheduled landing time from the time you expect to be ready to leave the airport. Baggage collection and border formalities, where applicable, happen between those points.

Ask the transport provider for its current pickup instructions and the terms that apply if the flight or baggage is delayed. Follow the instructions on your booking rather than a generic promise about a driver waiting inside the terminal. If you will need to contact the host after landing, keep the host’s contact details available offline.

An airport transfer may also be the first chance to buy food for the stay. If you need a grocery stop, request it in advance with enough detail to assess the stop and luggage space. A planned stop is easier to coordinate than discovering at the farm that the food you expected is not included. Do not assume a shop will be open at your arrival hour.

For a late flight, confirm that the farm can receive you at the expected time before committing to the whole itinerary. Transportation availability cannot override accommodation access. If the arrival plan changes, both parties need the update: the driver needs the revised journey, and the host needs the revised arrival expectation.

Pack for the facilities that are actually described

Riverside Oasis describes stocked kitchenettes, cooking equipment and outdoor cooking arrangements. The farm’s yurt page also advertises fresh eggs as part of a stay. These are useful starting points for a meal plan, but they are not a complete catering service. Confirm the current inventory for your yurt and bring the food you intend to eat.

The washroom detail deserves attention before anyone packs. The official FAQ currently describes portable washrooms near the yurts and says permanent washroom and shower facilities are being developed. Do not read a reference to future facilities as confirmation that they are available now. Ask the host directly if bathroom arrangements affect whether the stay is suitable for your party.

The property advertises year-round stays and wood-stove heating. That does not remove the need for outdoor clothing. Pack footwear and layers for walking between the accommodation, farm areas and washrooms in the conditions expected during your visit. Keep the first layer you need accessible rather than under the rest of the luggage.

Families should review the wood-stove arrangements with the host before choosing sleeping arrangements or packing extra equipment. Ask what is suitable for your children’s ages and what space must remain clear around the stove. The same conversation should cover the outdoor route to the washrooms. Resolve those accommodation questions before selecting a vehicle or paying for transport.

Groceries, animals and time on the property

A useful food plan begins with meals, not a large shopping bag. Decide what you will cook at the yurt and what you intend to eat elsewhere. Check the appliances and storage available for the accommodation you booked. If a cooler is needed, include its dimensions or a clear description when discussing vehicle space.

Animal time is central to Riverside Oasis. The official site names alpacas, goats, sheep, chickens and barn cats, and describes the evening routine as a chance to learn about the farm. Follow the host’s current instructions about feeding and approaching animals. A description of friendly animals is not permission to enter every area or feed anything you have brought.

The yurt page also advertises kayaks and canoes for overnight guests. Ask the farm about availability, river conditions, equipment and supervision expectations for your visit. The presence of paddling equipment does not establish that every guest should use it or that every day’s conditions are suitable. Keep any planned time on the water separate from an inflexible return pickup.

For a short stay, leaving some unscheduled time can avoid unnecessary travel. A farm tour, an outdoor meal and a walk may be the reason for coming. A car-free itinerary only becomes restrictive when it quietly assumes unbooked journeys. Decide beforehand whether the farm is your destination for the weekend or your base for a wider trip.

A gathering needs a different arrival plan

The Riverside Oasis homepage mentions work gatherings, retreats and intimate weddings as well as overnight stays. Those descriptions explain why someone might ask about guest shuttles, but they do not establish an event capacity, a transport package or permission to bring a bus. An overnight booking and a separately arranged gathering are not interchangeable.

If you are organising an occasion at the farm, settle the guest list with the host before arranging transport. Identify which guests are staying overnight, which are attending only the gathering, and who needs a return to Toronto that evening. This avoids designing one departure around guests who have different reasons to leave. The host should confirm the event’s finish and the acceptable loading window.

One shared Toronto meeting point can be easier to communicate than a chain of home pickups. It is only useful if guests can reach it with their bags and the vehicle can stop there legally. For a hotel departure, ask where a group should assemble rather than sending everyone to a busy entrance without checking. Send the same boarding instructions to every guest, including anyone added late.

Choose a passenger contact who will travel with the group and an organiser who can answer questions at the property. They may be the same person for a small stay. For a gathering, the host should not have to leave the event to work out which Toronto-bound guests are missing. Keep the driver’s transport contact separate from questions about the farm programme.

This article concerns the Toronto and YYZ journeys to the farm and back. For broader regional transport options, see the established Niagara limo service page. A farm-specific arrival plan should not be mistaken for a promise of on-demand local rides, restaurant transfers or a winery circuit during the stay.

Plan the return before the first pickup

Choose the destination after your stay as carefully as the destination before it. Returning to a Toronto home, checking into a city hotel and catching a flight at Pearson need different departure plans. Give the return address or flight details when asking about the outbound transfer.

For an airport departure, begin with the airline’s required arrival time at the airport. The transport provider can then assess the road journey from the confirmed farm address. Add the time needed to pack, complete the host’s departure requirements and reach the agreed loading point. A yurt check-out time is not an airport departure schedule.

Ask where the vehicle should meet you and whether the same point is suitable for arrival and departure. Larger vehicles need an access assessment; photographs of a farm or a list of accommodation units cannot establish turning space. Do not assume a coach can enter or wait because the property mentions groups or events.

Keep one person responsible for telling the driver when the party is ready. Bags, groceries and personal items should be accounted for before leaving the accommodation. If a return date or pickup time changes, request confirmation of the revised transport arrangement rather than treating a message to the host as a change to the car booking.

Put the farm’s arrival message into the travel plan

The host’s pre-arrival message is more useful than a general map search. Forward only the information needed for the journey: the confirmed entrance, the stopping instructions, an arrival contact and any timing restriction. Keep unrelated reservation or payment details out of a group message. If the entrance differs from the main postal address, ask the host to explain which approach the driver should use.

Ask what happens after the vehicle stops. A safe place to unload does not prove that the vehicle can reach a yurt door. Guests may need to carry food and bags from a designated handover point, and the suitability of that arrangement depends on the actual surface and distance. Neither is verified here. Anyone who would struggle with that final part should settle it with the host before paying for a vehicle.

Describe mobility needs in practical terms. Tell the transport provider whether a guest can use steps, whether equipment folds, and whether assistance or a particular vehicle feature is required. Separately ask the farm about the route to the accommodation and washrooms. A suitable road vehicle cannot fix an unsuitable path at the destination, and the word glamping says nothing reliable about step-free access.

Prepare one short travel note that guests can save offline. Include the departure meeting point, when to be ready, the passenger contact, the farm handover point once approved, and the return arrangement. Put any missing detail under a clear pending label. It is better to send a final update than to let a provisional pin become the address everyone follows.

Keep the weekend flexible without leaving the return open

A farm stay can have a simple structure: leave Toronto with the food and equipment you need, arrive within the host’s agreed window, spend the stay at the property, then depart at the booked time. That is a planning example, not a Riverside Oasis package. It works only if the accommodation arrangements and both transfers have been accepted separately.

For an arrival day, organise the sequence around the activity you most want to attend. If that is the evening animal routine, obtain its time from the host. Work backwards through settling in, unloading and the assessed road journey. Do not turn a broad online drive estimate into a hard deadline. A grocery stop belongs in that sequence before the schedule is confirmed.

The last morning needs a little more structure than the middle of the stay. Finish breakfast, pack cooking supplies and gather everyone’s belongings before the agreed vehicle arrival. Leave footwear and outer layers accessible until the bags are loaded. If the host needs a departure task completed, allow for it before boarding rather than while the driver and other guests wait.

When some guests return to Toronto and others fly from YYZ, list both destinations in the original request. Ask whether one route can serve them without compromising the flight plan or whether separate journeys are more appropriate. Do not assume the airport is a convenient extra stop on a city return. The order of destinations and the airline’s arrival requirement determine whether that arrangement makes sense.

Questions about a Riverside Oasis transfer

Where is Riverside Oasis Farm?

The official website places the farm beside the Welland River in Ontario’s Niagara Region. Wellandport is the regional location identified for this destination. Use the exact address and entrance in your accommodation instructions for transport, not a generic Niagara Falls destination.

### Can I request a private transfer from Toronto?

You can submit the confirmed property address, dates, passengers and luggage for a transfer assessment. Availability and vehicle suitability need confirmation. The accommodation booking does not include transport unless your own booking explicitly says so.

Can the journey start at Pearson?

A Pearson pickup can be included in a transport request. Provide the flight number and date, then follow the confirmed airport pickup instructions. Ask how changes to flight arrival or baggage collection affect the booking.

### What time is check-in?

The yurt page lists 3 p.m. as standard check-in. Earlier arrival is subject to the property’s approval and availability. Use the time on your own accommodation confirmation when arranging transport.

What time is check-out?

The published standard is 11 a.m. Confirm your departure arrangements with the host, particularly if an airport transfer requires an earlier start. A later accommodation departure and a later car pickup both need their own confirmation.

Are there private indoor bathrooms?

The official FAQ currently describes portable washrooms near the yurts and planned permanent facilities. It does not support a promise of an ensuite shower or bathroom. Ask the host about the current setup if it affects your decision to stay.

Should I bring food?

Bring the food required for your planned meals after checking the yurt’s equipment and supplies. The site advertises kitchenettes and fresh eggs, but those details do not establish a fully catered stay. Declare coolers and grocery bags as luggage.

Can we stop for groceries on the way?

Request the stop before the journey is confirmed. Include the shop or preferred area, likely shopping needs and extra baggage. A grocery stop should fit the farm’s arrival arrangements rather than delay an expected check-in without notice.

Is the farm tour included?

Riverside Oasis advertises an evening farm tour with a yurt stay. Ask the host for the timing and current arrangements on your date. Transport should leave room to arrive and settle in before an activity you want to attend.

Can we go kayaking?

The official yurt page advertises kayaks and canoes during a stay. Confirm the current conditions, equipment and host instructions before planning to use them. No water activity or access condition is guaranteed by a transfer booking.

Can children stay?

The property markets stays to families. Confirm the exact sleeping arrangements and suitability for your children’s ages, including the wood stove and outdoor facilities. Supply any child-seat requirements separately when requesting transport.

Can I bring a dog?

The yurt FAQ says dogs are accepted, with a charge. Confirm the current property terms and your animal’s details directly with the host. Transport permission and any carrier arrangements require a separate check; one approval does not establish the other.

Can several yurts share one vehicle?

Possibly, subject to the actual passengers, luggage, vehicle availability and farm access. Combine the travel details before requesting a quote. Separate accommodation bookings should still have their own confirmed arrival instructions.

Can a bus enter the farm?

Bus access has not been verified. Ask the host and transport provider to assess the entrance, stopping area and turning space for the proposed vehicle. Group accommodation or event marketing is not proof of coach access.

Will the driver wait during the stay?

Do not assume so. A transfer and a vehicle retained for additional journeys are different requests. Explain whether you need only arrival and departure or restaurant and other local journeys during the stay.

What should a transport request include?

Include the pickup address or flight, travel dates, farm arrival instructions, passenger count, luggage, planned stops and return destination. Mention access or mobility needs early. book your transfer online once those details are available.

For a journey-specific assessment, request a quote with your confirmed stay details, or use the booking form. Ask for written confirmation of the vehicle, luggage allowance, stopping point, return pickup and any waiting or change terms before treating the transport as booked.
