Airport limo Toronto Pearson: what the arrival costs
A Pearson arrival with Chauffeuropolis has two parts on the quote: the ride itself, priced by distance as a one-way fare with no hourly minimum, and a pre-arrangement fee (from approximately $35 per passenger), plus HST. HST of 13% and gratuity of 15 to 20% are added to the fare. Your total is shown on the quote before you pay.
Pre-arrangement fee (chauffeur pickup)
from approximately $35 per passenger
Charged per passenger, plus HST, on a Chauffeuropolis airport pickup at Pearson. A solo traveller pays from approximately $35 and a family of four from approximately $140, on top of the fare.
Meet & Assist concierge (separate service)
The Meet & Assist concierge is a separate airport service with its own price, quoted with your booking. It covers the terminal leg only, so book the car as well or ask us to arrange both in one call. A concierge booking without a car leaves your passenger at the curb with no ride.

“Meet and greet service” at Toronto Pearson means two completely different things depending on who you’re booking with, creating confusion that costs travelers time, money, and occasionally missed connections. Understanding the distinction between airport concierge services (which navigate you through terminal procedures) and chauffeur meet-and-greet (which coordinates your ground transportation pickup) prevents booking the wrong service for your actual needs. [1]
Last Tuesday, a London-based executive flying into Pearson Terminal 1 for Bay Street meetings paid $340 for what he thought was “meet and greet service” through an airport concierge provider. A uniformed escort met him at the gate, walked him through customs and baggage claim, then deposited him at the terminal exit and disappeared. He stood there with his luggage, confused. Where was his car? He hadn’t booked ground transportation separately, assuming “meet and greet” included the vehicle.
He called us at 10:45 AM asking if we could get him downtown by 11:30 AM for his meeting. We dispatched immediately and got him to Financial District by 11:40 AM, but the stress and confusion could have been prevented by understanding service distinctions upfront.
That scenario repeats constantly: corporate travelers, international visitors, and families booking “meet and greet” services without realizing there are two separate product categories serving completely different functions. This page clarifies what each service actually delivers and when you need which one.
Two Different “Meet and Greet” Services
The term describes fundamentally different services offered by different providers.
Airport Concierge Services
Toronto Pearson’s official airport concierge operator provides dedicated services for passengers needing help navigating terminal procedures. This is premium airport navigation service, not ground transportation. [2]
What it delivers: Gate meeting immediately upon deplaning, immigration/passport control assistance (often expedited), baggage claim coordination, customs guidance, and terminal exit delivery.
Pricing: Concierge service, separate from your car: quoted with your booking, depending on service tier.
Rates are approximate; your written quote is the firm price.
Chauffeur Meet & Greet
Professional limo and car services use “meet and greet” to describe how your driver coordinates pickup at airport arrivals. This is ground transportation coordination, not terminal navigation assistance. This is what Chauffeuropolis provides.
What it delivers: Flight monitoring, Pre-Arranged Services Desk coordination, a curb meeting at Door A, luggage assistance to vehicle, and door-to-door transport.
Pricing: Included in our standard rates (e.g., from approximately $35 per passenger pre-arrangement fee, plus HST, plus transportation costs).
Rates are approximate; your written quote is the firm price.
Which Service Do You Need?
When Airport Concierge Makes Sense
First-time international visitors needing customs help. Tight connections between terminals. VIP/Celebrity travelers avoiding crowds. Elderly passengers needing mobility support. High-value executives willing to pay a premium to save 15 minutes.
When Chauffeur Meet & Greet Is Sufficient
Experienced travelers familiar with customs. Corporate groups needing professional transport. Families who can manage terminal navigation but need coordinated pickup. Anyone wanting reliability without the premium concierge price tag.
How Chauffeur Meet & Greet Works
Pre-Arrival
We require flight details to enable automatic tracking. We send confirmation 24-48 hours before arrival with driver contact and specific meeting point instructions.
Terminal 1 Process
Clear customs/immigration. Exit to the Arrivals Level and go to Door A. Check in at the Pre-Arranged Desk with your name or “Chauffeuropolis”. Your chauffeur meets you at the Door A curb.
Terminal 3 Process
Same as Terminal 1: after customs, go to Door A on the Arrivals Level and check in at the Pre-Arranged Desk with your name or “Chauffeuropolis”. Your chauffeur meets you at the Door A curb.
Hamilton Airport Meet & Greet Service (YHM)
Hamilton International Airport operates on a much smaller scale than Pearson. No third-party airport concierge service operates at YHM, which means Chauffeuropolis handles the full experience end to end. Simpler terminal, faster exit, same professional pickup standard.
How YHM Arrivals Work
Hamilton is a single-terminal, no-frills airport. Customs and baggage claim are steps from the exit. Your driver meets you at the Arrivals door, typically less than 5 minutes from landing to vehicle.
- ✓ Single terminal, no navigation confusion
- ✓ Driver positioned at Arrivals exit
- ✓ Flight tracking active from departure
- ✓ Name signage for identification
Who Flies into YHM
Hamilton Airport serves Swoop, Flair, and Sunwing, primarily leisure travel from Florida, Mexico, Dominican Republic, and Caribbean destinations. Popular with families, snowbirds, and wedding guests flying in for Niagara and Muskoka events.
- ✓ Families arriving from sunspot destinations
- ✓ Wedding guests for Niagara events
- ✓ Corporate travelers using discount carriers
- ✓ Snowbirds returning from Florida / Caribbean

Meet & Greet for Different Travelers
Corporate Executives
Efficiency is key. No cab lines. A quick check-in at the Door A desk, then the car at the curb. Mobile workspace immediately upon entering vehicle.
Family Groups
Solves coordination. Everyone meets at one spot. Driver assists with luggage for grandparents/children. Group stays together in one Sprinter.
International Visitors
Eliminates “new city” stress. Check in at the Door A desk with your name and your chauffeur meets you at the curb.
Wedding Parties
Special touches like personalized wedding signage. Coordination of multiple arrivals from London, Vancouver, New York into single efficient transport to Niagara.
Pricing & Fees
Understanding the complete cost structure prevents surprises.
Pre-Arrangement Fee
The $35 per passenger pre-arrangement service fee covers all meet-and-greet coordination. This includes flight tracking, Pre-Arranged Services registration, signage, luggage assistance, and driver coordination.
For a corporate executive traveling solo, the fee is from approximately $35. For a family of 4, it’s from approximately $140.
Rates are approximate; your written quote is the firm price.

Transportation cost is separate and varies by vehicle/destination. Example rates (Sedan 2-3 pax), plus the pre-arrangement fee (from approximately $35 per passenger):
- • Hamilton: from approximately $125
- • Burlington: from approximately $110
- • Niagara Falls: from approximately $250

Terminal 1 arrivals Pearson: what to send before you land
Four details let us plan a Pearson arrival: the flight number, the passenger name on the booking, how many people and bags are coming, and a mobile number that works when you land. Tell us as well if anyone needs extra time or help with luggage, such as a grandparent, a wheelchair user or a parent travelling alone with small children.
We send confirmation 24 to 48 hours before arrival with your driver’s contact and the meeting point instructions for your terminal, whether you land at Terminal 1 or Terminal 3. Keep that message open on your phone when you step off the plane, and save the driver’s number before you board. At both terminals the steps are the same: after customs, go to Door A on the arrivals level, check in at the Pre-Arranged Desk with your name or “Chauffeuropolis”, and your chauffeur meets you at the Door A curb.
International passengers clear customs and immigration before they reach the arrivals level, and on a busy afternoon that can take longer than the flight’s final descent. Booking with the flight number means the pickup follows your real arrival rather than the timetable alone.
Airport limo service from Pearson to Hamilton, Niagara and Kitchener
Most Pearson arrivals are one-way trips priced by distance, with no hourly minimum. A sedan to Hamilton is from approximately $125 and to Burlington from approximately $110. An SUV to Niagara Falls is from approximately $380, and a Cadillac Escalade to St. Catharines from approximately $460. A group of up to 14 in a Sprinter to Kitchener or Waterloo is from approximately $530. HST and gratuity are added to each fare, along with the pre-arrangement fee (from approximately $35 per passenger).
Longer runs such as Muskoka, Blue Mountain, Ottawa or Montreal are on the full rate card, and Billy Bishop and other airports are quoted per trip. Add-ons appear on your quote before you pay: a child seat is $25, extra luggage such as golf clubs or ski bags is $15, and a pet in a carrier is $50. Highway 407 tolls are charged at cost, only when the route uses the 407, and your chauffeur asks first.
Toronto chauffeur service for groups landing at Pearson
Pick the vehicle by people and bags. A sedan carries 2 to 3 passengers. A GMC Yukon or Suburban carries 6 people with 5 suitcases, a Cadillac Escalade 6 with 5, and a Lincoln Navigator 7 with 6. An Executive Mercedes-Benz Sprinter seats 14 with room for 14 suitcases, which suits a wedding party or a team flying in for the same meeting.
The pre-arrangement fee is charged per passenger, so a group of ten in a Sprinter adds from approximately $350 in pre-arrangement fees to the fare. For larger groups we run a 27-passenger mini coach and a 56-seat coach, quoted per trip. If your guests land on different flights, send each flight number and we price the arrivals together on one quote.
Toronto Pearson airport arrivals: concierge, car, or both
The two products solve different problems. The Meet & Assist concierge meets your passenger at the gate and handles immigration, baggage claim and customs before the Arrivals curbside. A Chauffeuropolis pickup is the car: the vehicle, the chauffeur, the luggage help and the drive to your door, with the pre-arrangement fee on the quote.
A concierge booking on its own does not include a car, which is how the executive in the story above ended up standing at the exit with his bags. If your passenger needs help inside the terminal, book both. One call to us and we arrange the concierge and the car together.
Toronto chauffeur service for business visitors flying into Pearson
Many Pearson pickups are booked by someone other than the traveller: an executive assistant, an office manager or a host company bringing in a client. Book under the passenger’s name and add your own contact as the booker, so the quote and the confirmation reach you while the passenger is still in the air. If a team is arriving on several flights over one day, list every flight and we put the whole day on one quote.
Choose the vehicle by who is arriving and what they are doing next. A single executive heading to Bay Street usually rides in a sedan or a Cadillac Escalade. A sales team going straight to a client site fits in a Lincoln Navigator or an Executive Sprinter, which gives them room to talk through the meeting on the way. Visitors staying a few days often book the return to Pearson at the same time, so both legs sit on one confirmation.
The back seat works as a quiet office after a long flight. Your guest can take a call, read through notes or rest, instead of queueing for a ride and directing a stranger through the 401. For a client you want to impress, that first hour in the city sets the tone for the visit.
Airport limo Toronto Pearson for families and wedding guests
Families landing at Pearson usually need two things: one meeting point for everyone and enough room for the bags. Tell us the ages of any young children when you book so the right child seats are fitted, at $25 each. Strollers, car seats you bring yourself and extra suitcases count toward the luggage space, so mention them and we size the vehicle to match.
Wedding guests often fly in from several cities over one or two days. Send us the guest list with flight numbers and we group the arrivals into as few trips as the timing allows, then price each trip on one quote. A Sprinter seating 14 takes a full family party to a hotel in Niagara Falls or Hamilton in one run, and the 27-passenger mini coach covers larger groups. Add each guest’s hotel to the list so every trip ends at the right door.
