Rogers Stadium pickup and drop off service
Two official zones, 400 metres and 900 metres from the gates, and a driver who names your meeting point before you go in, not after.
Rogers Stadium pickup and drop off service rates
Same figures as the rest of the cluster, each way within the GTA. What this page adds is where the vehicle actually meets you.
Up to 14 passengers
Regular Sprinter
One vehicle for the whole group, dropped and collected at the same agreed point.
Up to 6 passengers
Executive SUV
Six seats, boot space for coats, and a kerbside drop rather than a lot.
Up to 6 passengers
Cadillac Escalade
The same six seats with a different arrival at the gate.
All rates are plus HST 13% and gratuity 15 to 20 percent. Rates start here for a GTA pickup and are confirmed in writing once we know your gate and your addresses. A sedan starting from $185 and the Jet Sprinter starting from $1,000 complete the fleet, both priced on the private transportation page.
Rogers Stadium pickup and drop off zones: 81 YZD Lane and 590 Wilson Avenue
The venue operates two official pickup and drop-off zones, and they are not interchangeable. Which one you want is decided by your gate, because the walk between them is longer than the walk from either one to the stadium.
The difference is 900 metres against 400, which does not sound like much until it is raining, you are in the shoes you wore for a concert, and there are about 50,000 people doing it at the same time. Getting this right is most of what a driver who knows the venue is for.
Where do cars drop off at Rogers Stadium
Cars, rideshares and private vehicles all use the same two zones above. There is no separate lane for a booked car, and any operator who tells you otherwise is selling you something the venue does not offer. What a booked car changes is not the zone, it is the timing and the certainty.
On the way in that difference is modest. You are dropped at the zone rather than parking, so you skip the lot and the walk from it, and you arrive at a time you chose rather than a time the queue chose for you. The approach roads into the former Downsview Airport lands in North York back up well before doors, so a driver who knows to come eastbound on Sheppard Avenue West, right onto Chesswood Drive, into YZD Lane at Carl Hall Road rather than following a map straight down the busiest road is worth the twenty minutes it saves.
Fans can begin queuing at the venue from 9:30 AM on show day on show day. If your group wants to be near the front, that pushes your pickup much earlier than the ticket time implies, and it is worth saying so when you book rather than discovering it on the day.
Where a Sprinter drops off at Rogers Stadium
A 14-seat Sprinter uses the same two official zones as every other vehicle, but the choice between them matters more for a group than for a couple. Fourteen people unloading at 590 Wilson Avenue face the 900 metres walk together, in whatever the weather is doing, at the pace of the slowest person in the party.
So for group transportation to Rogers Stadium we default to the north zone at 81 YZD Lane, 400 metre from the gates, reached eastbound on Sheppard Avenue West, right onto Chesswood Drive, into YZD Lane at Carl Hall Road. The exception is a group whose seats put them nearest the south gates, where the shorter walk inside the grounds outweighs the longer walk from the vehicle.
Coming out, a group pickup is staged clear of the main crush rather than in the zone itself, because fourteen people converging on a busy kerb is slower than fourteen people walking thirty seconds further to a vehicle that is already stopped and waiting.
Pickup and drop off at Rogers Stadium after the show
This is the half people underestimate. The drop-off is easy and the pickup is the reason the booking earns its price.
Your driver tells you exactly where they will be afterwards, chosen to sit clear of the main exit crush rather than in the middle of it. You agree it in daylight, not at 11 PM.
The vehicle is already positioned. There is no request to send, no price to accept, and no queue that is growing while you think about it.
You message the driver directly on the number you have had for 48 hours. Not a dispatch line and not an app.
From the gates to the north zone at 81 YZD Lane is 400 metres. Most groups are in the vehicle inside ten minutes of standing up.
The driver has watched which roads are moving while you were inside. That is the part no app can do for you, because the app only starts thinking about it once you have already asked.
Rogers Stadium parking compared with being dropped at the gate
Parking looks like the cheap option and sometimes it is. It is worth knowing what you are actually buying before you decide.
On-site there is Allen Road parking off 400 William R. Allen Road southbound, and Wilson Avenue parking off 590 Wilson Avenue westbound. Both sell out early for major shows. Off-site there is the unpaved Tuscan Gate lot at Sheppard Avenue West and Tuscan Gate, and York University’s York Boulevard lot, paid through the HONK app. The Tuscan Gate lot is the one worth flagging: it is unpaved, and the walk from it to your seat is long and on uneven ground in whatever the weather is doing that night. Commuter lots at the subway stations are the other common answer, and they work, at the cost of joining the platform crowd on the way out.
The honest comparison is not the lot fee against the fare. It is the lot fee plus the walk plus the exit queue plus the fact that whoever drives cannot have a drink, against a fixed number and a kerbside drop. For one person that comparison can go either way. For four people in an executive SUV at $250, splitting it, it usually does not. Transit and driving routes in full are on our Rogers Stadium travel page, which we keep as a separate page on purpose.
Rogers Stadium pickup and drop off: questions buyers ask
Where is the pickup and drop off at Rogers Stadium?
There are two official zones. 81 YZD Lane sits at the north end, 400 metres from the gates, and 590 Wilson Avenue sits at the south end at 900 metres. Which one you want depends on your gate, not on which is nearer the road.
How do I get to the pickup and drop off at Rogers Stadium by car?
For the north zone, eastbound on Sheppard Avenue West, right onto Chesswood Drive, into YZD Lane at Carl Hall Road. For the south zone, west on Wilson Avenue, right into the pathway at the Pick-Up/Drop-Off sign. The approach roads back up well before doors, so leaving earlier than the map suggests is the standard advice for this site.
How much is pickup and drop off service to Rogers Stadium?
A sedan is $185 each way within the GTA, an executive SUV $250, a Cadillac Escalade $350 and a 14-passenger Sprinter $600, all plus HST 13% and gratuity. Pickups from outside the GTA are quoted on distance.
Is the walk from the drop-off zone long?
400 metres from the north zone and 900 metres from the south zone. The north zone is less than half the walk, which is why choosing the right one for your gate matters more than most people expect.
Do private cars use a different lane than rideshare?
No. Cars, rideshares and private vehicles use the same two official zones. What a booking changes is the timing, the certainty of the price, and having a driver already positioned afterwards rather than being dispatched once you ask.
Where does my driver wait after the concert?
At a meeting point they name before you get out at drop-off, chosen to sit clear of the main exit crush. You agree it in advance rather than trying to describe your location in the dark afterwards.
How long does it take to get picked up after the show?
Five to ten minutes for most groups, which is essentially the walking time. The vehicle is already in position, so there is no dispatch wait added on top of the walk.
How do I reach my driver after the show?
You text them directly. You have the chauffeur’s name and mobile number from 48 hours before the show, so there is no app and no dispatch line between you and the vehicle.
Is there a shuttle from the pickup zone?
There is a free TTC shuttle between Wilson Station and the stadium, running from 30 minutes before the Fan Plaza opens until one hour after the show ends. It is useful going in. It stops one hour after the show ends, which is the limitation on the way out if your row is slow to clear.
What is the address of Rogers Stadium?
105 Carl Hall Road, on the former Downsview Airport lands in North York. The pickup and drop-off zones themselves are at 81 YZD Lane and 590 Wilson Avenue, which are the addresses you actually want when arranging a vehicle.
Where should I park instead of being dropped off?
On-site there is Allen Road parking off 400 William R. Allen Road southbound, and Wilson Avenue parking off 590 Wilson Avenue westbound, and both sell out early for major shows. Off-site there is the unpaved Tuscan Gate lot at Sheppard Avenue West and Tuscan Gate, and York University’s York Boulevard lot, paid through the HONK app. The Tuscan Gate lot is unpaved with a long walk, which is the detail that changes most people’s minds.
Can the driver drop us at a specific gate?
The vehicle can only use the two official zones, so the closest possible drop is the zone that serves your gate. Guest Services pods sit by Gates 1 and 3, plus section North 108, and knowing your gate before the day is what lets the driver pick the right zone.
Can you pick up a group from several addresses first?
Yes. Multi-address pickup is standard and each passenger gets their own pickup time. The route is ordered so the whole group reaches the zone together rather than in three separate arrivals.
What if the show finishes late?
Nothing changes. The booking is held for the show rather than a guessed clock time, so an encore that runs long costs nothing extra and does not release the vehicle.
Do you charge extra for the post-show wait?
No. On a return booking the wait is part of the price you agreed, and there is no late-night or surge multiplier on any booking regardless of how the show ran.
Is the drop-off accessible?
Tell us at the quote stage and we will confirm the vehicle and the zone before you commit. Accessibility arrangements at the venue itself are handled through Live Nation’s accessibility coordinator.
What time should I be dropped off?
That depends on whether you want to be inside early. Fans can begin queuing at the venue from 9:30 AM on show day on show day, so an early entry pushes the pickup much earlier than the ticket time implies. We set the timing at the quote stage.
Can I bring a bag to the show?
The venue permits small clutches, belt bags, fanny packs and clear bags only, with backpacks refused even when they are clear. It is a venue rule rather than ours, but it is the reason a lot of groups prefer having a vehicle they are coming back to for coats and anything else that will not get through the gate.
How far ahead should I book?
Two to four weeks for a major show, because the Sprinters clear first. Sedans and SUVs are usually available at a week, and same-day is sometimes possible if you call (905) 633-5804.
Do you cover pickups outside Toronto?
Yes, from anywhere in the Greater Golden Horseshoe including Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill, Oakville, Burlington, Milton, Guelph and Hamilton. Those are quoted on distance rather than priced off the GTA figures here.
Should I book the drop-off only, or the pickup as well?
Both. The drop-off is the easy leg and the pickup is the one that fails on a busy night. Booking them together fixes the price and guarantees the vehicle, and the arithmetic is set out on the round trip transportation to rogers stadium page.
Is gratuity included?
No. Every figure is plus HST 13% and gratuity 15 to 20 percent, quoted separately so the number you compare against another operator is the same kind of number.
